It’s that time of year–fall soccer season. The nice thing about soccer in the fall–cool weather and no sand gnats. I don’t even want to think about how many bottles of bug spray we went through in the spring soccer season.
Anyway–boy missed playing for two seasons, so we were a little worried that he might be behind on his game, but it turned out there was nothing to fear. He played his hardest and had a blast on the field. I honestly didn’t realize he could run so quickly.
They won 8-0, Boy scoring 1 of the goals while one of his good friends scored two of them. We were all so proud of the team. They worked together beautifully and had such a good time while playing.
Poor baby, though–she went through, missing two nap times, and it was just too hot for a fall morning.
Don’t worry, Baby, the heat and humidity will soon be a thing of the past. Then we can enjoy fall soccer season with relative comfort and ease.
