Dry Spell is written by a former high school teacher who is now a stay-at-home mom. She spends her days taking care of the not-so-mundane details of daily life: cooking, cleaning, bill paying, and raising two adorable kids, a hard-working husband, and
three two insane animals cats, not to mention six three one freaky typhoid tetra fish who has managed to single-handedly (finnedly?) wipe out two tanks full of fish and one adorably nutty beagle puppy.
Posts on the site are hers and hers alone, errors and all. She makes no apologies. And along those lines, all of the photographs that appear on this blog are hers and taken by her (Okay–so the only exception is the one on this page, which was taken by her husband. Of course, this is only because it snowed for the first time in TEN years where they all live and she wasn’t about to miss being photographed in the snow. I mean come on–FIVE INCHES of snow in the coastal south?!?) She can’t even begin to express how much she loves her camera.
Writing in the third person can be fun.
Hope you enjoy the site.
